It's a big month for us here at E.I. Medical Imaging. The title of this post could have been less broad but there are far too many things happening this month that we need to celebrate.
To all of our neighbors to the North, we would like to wish you a Happy Canada Day! Today all Canadians are celebrating Canada Day and we wish you the best. The other thing affecting all Canadians and something we have been learning about and implementing here at E.I. Medical Imaging is the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). This requires all Canadians to opt in to receiving email and communications from businesses like ours. Another big Holiday for those in the U.S. is our National holiday on the 4th of July. My son celebrates his birthday on this date and has for years thought that the rest of the country helps him celebrate! We will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2014 for this holiday. If you need anything please leave a message on our voice mail, and you can also email us! We hope you too have a safe and happy 4th of July weekend. We will be kicking off the long holiday weekend with a BBQ here at the office. When asked recently what I liked best as a BBQ item, beef, chicken or pork, my response was easy...YES! Those in the protein producer industry are watching closely as our nation lights the grills and get prepared to watch those fireworks!
July is also a very special month for those in the Dairy industry. I am not confusing National Dairy Month we celebrated last month, but it is a close second. July is National Ice Cream Month and more specifically, July 24 is National Ice Cream Day! My family has a great time celebrating this holiday all month. In fact we will be making a family recipe of homemade ice cream that calls for a laundry list of dairy items. I have been wanting to try raw milk for the recipe and might have to track down a dairy here local that can provide me some raw milk!
