We always love to have a little fun here at E.I. Medical Imaging at this time of year. We are fascinated by sharks and it is shark week. Brenda Anderson has submitted a video of a loop of a shark pup and we wanted to share that with you in celebration of shark week. This image was taken by our very own Ibex® Pro. Our Ibex® can withstand the rigors and dangers presented by doing ultrasound scans in the ocean! We hope your shark week is a fun one!
At E.I. Medical Imaging we get a number of questions about our product but we also get use case questions from many of our current customers and general questions from the public about bovine reproduction and other issues in our industry. One recent conversation I wanted to share with you as many of you may have this question. I thought it would be good to share with all of our customers and potential users. The question I will put forth first and the response to the question was written by our very own in house veterinarian, Dr. Erika Wierman. Dr. Wierman is heading up our education and training here at E.I. Medical Imaging and we will soon be launching more information about our program. For now we will be happy to respond to questions like these:
Loveland, CO (I-Newswire) January 2, 2014 - E.I. Medical Imaging, a worldwide leader in portable ultrasound systems for veterinary use announced today the addition of Biogenec as the newest authorized Ibex® distributor in Bogotá, Colombia. Biogenec is an experienced supplier of portable ultrasound machines in South America and has been involved in the veterinary market in that country.
With E.I. Medical Imaging partnering with Biogenec it continues to show their commitment to the South American continent and they further open up the market share for E.I. Company President, Chas Maloy states, "We are continuing our push to open up our presence and sales in South America and adding Sergio Gomez and his company in Colombia is a good decision for us." Biogenec provides embryo transfer, artificial insemination and in-vitro fertilization and now adds portable, durable veterinary ultrasound equipment to its offerings. These services are growing in Colombia and E.I. Medical wants to grow its product line in the area. This company has a strong presence in the veterinary services industry. This was my first time at the American Association of Equine Practitioners or AAEP and I was not sure what to expect other than I knew this would be a great location for the show at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in the heart of the country music scene in Nashville, Tennessee. We had such a great time and it was such a success we decided to make sure to book our booth for next year's show in Salt Lake City, Utah. If we missed you this year, we would love to see you at the trade show in 2014.
We are headed to to the great state of Tennessee for the American Association of Equine Practitioners for their annual conference and trade show taking place from December 7, 2013 to December 11, 2013 in Nashville. The show is described as:
To all of the company contacts, customers and friends we want to wish you the very best this holiday season. It is not quite time to start thinking of our resolutions for 2014 and the new year. It is a time to reflect on 2013 and see how far we have come this year and all of the things we have to be thankful for as we remember our many blessings.
As we sit here in the midst of completing our budgets for 2014 at E.I. Medical Imaging a common question is for us to look at expenditures for the previous couple of years and ask, "What was the return on the investment?" Suffice it to say this is a question asked in any business setting and for any department. The same can be said for veterinarians and livestock producers. As the title of the article here infers, what is the return on investment of purchasing a portable ultrasound system? We here at E.I. Medical Imaging are the first to try to find ways to make the systems we sell more affordable for our customers. In fact we discuss this at length every time we get together in a sales meeting, a marketing strategy session, and even now as we prepare our budgets for 2014.
September is nearly a memory now being the last day of the month. It reminds of song lyrics from The Brothers Four in "Try To Remember":
Try to remember the kind of September
When life was slow and oh, so mellow.
Try to remember the kind of September
When grass was green and grain was yellow.
E.I. Medical Imaging had a great time seeing old friend and making new ones at the 2011 AAEP (American Association of Equine Practitioners) last week. We thought it would be fitting to post some equine ultrasound images.
