Return Policy


All returned merchandise must be accompanied by a Support Issue number obtained by calling or emailing E. I. Medical Imaging (EIMI). Support Issue numbers are valid for at least 30 days.

Returns are accepted up to 30 days from the ship date. The customer must call for a Support Issue Number within 30 days of shipment and merchandise to be returned must be received by EIMI within 35 days of shipment.

Non-defective returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Returned merchandise must be received in like new condition in its original packaging. All cables and other accessories must be returned. No credit or refund will be issued for damaged or missing items. All items to be returned are subject to evaluation by EIMI technicians.

Printed materials, CD’s, DVD’s, and portable storage devices are not returnable.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.


Credits or Refunds will be issued after EIMI has received and evaluated the returned merchandise at its facility.

The original invoice amount (less any fees or discounts) will be credited to the customer’s EIMI account. A cash refund may be requested if the return is made within 15 days from ship date. After 15 days, only EIMI credit or exchange is available.

If a customer returns equipment that was purchased with a credit card, the refund will be made to the same card within 60 days of the original charge date. No other option is available when a credit card has been used for the purchase.

Credit or Exchange

Exchanges may be made up to 30 days from ship date. A Support Issue number must accompany returned merchandise. Merchandise must be received within 35 days of its original ship date. All items to be returned for credit or exchange are subject to evaluation by EIMI technicians.

Returned items must be received at EIMI in advance of shipment of replacement merchandise.

A non-refundable credit (less any applicable charges, including a 15% restocking fee) will be applied to an existing open balance on the customer’s account. No cash or credit card refunds will be made after 15 days from the original ship date.

No refunds can be made to a credit card unless the original purchase was made with that card within 60 days of the original charge date.

Credit will be issued upon receipt and evaluation of the returned item(s) at EIMI’s facility.


Used equipment may be accepted for trade-in value against the price of a new system or for a non-refundable credit on the customer’s EIMI account. A Support Issue number must accompany the equipment.

The value of traded goods will be determined by an EIMI technician or negotiated with the sales person. The trade-in value will appear as a credit memo on the customer’s EIMI account. (No credit memo will be issued until the used equipment has been received and evaluated by EIMI.) E. I. Medical Imaging will not issue refunds or cash payments for used equipment.
