IBEX PRO/LITE Firmware Update

Includes PRO, PRO/r, PRO/c, LITE, SuperLite, SuperLite/c models.

To keep your PRO or LITE system optimized to perform at its highest level, you must upgrade your system to the most recent firmware/software version.

The latest PRO and LITE update [Version FW 2.10] includes research and development changes as well as customer requested enhancements from previous firmware releases.

Before you start...

1. Fully charge the battery.
2. Power the IBEX ON
3. Insert the supplied compact flash card into the CF slot behind the door on the IBEX.
4. Connect the IBEX to your PC via the supplied USB cable. Your PC will show theIBEX as a drive under My Computer. The IBEX will display the message Connected to PC
5. Download the .fw upgrade file to the root of the CF card.
6. Disconnect the USB cable from the Ibex
7. Download and print a copy of these instructions

Installing IBEX PRO Series Firmware Update

1. On the IBEX PRO, press the SUPER key.
2. Press F3 [SETUP]
3. Press F5 [SYSTEM]
4. Press F2 [INSTALL]
5. Press F2 [UPGRADE]
6. The system will display a list of all upgrade files that are on the CF card—highlight and select the desired upgrade file
7. Highlight and select YES
8. The system will apply the upgrade—when complete, the system will display the message Upgrade successful, press select to shutdown
9. Press SELECT

Installing IBEX LITE Series Firmware Update

1. For the IBEX LITE press the SELECT key—the system will display the Select menu.
2. Using the arrow keys highlight and select SYSTEM
3. Highlight and select INSTALL
4. Highlight and select UPGRADE
5. The system will display a list of all upgrade files that are on the CF card—highlight and select the desired upgrade file
6. Highlight and select YES
7. The system will apply the upgrade—when complete the system will display the message Upgrade successful, press select to shutdown
8. Press SELECT
