Medical Imaging to all of you, Happy New Year 2015!  We look  back on a year of 2014 and thank all of our customers and count our many blessings in the year, and we also look ahead with great anticipation of what we expect will be a wonderful yer in 2015! Our offices will be closed on New Year's Day and the following day.  We will be open on Monday, January 5, 2015 to handle any inquiries of our Ibex® Portable Ultrasound Systems.  Feel free to contact us and let us know if you need any assistance. From all of us here at E.I. Medical Imaging to all of you and yours, Merry Christmas!  Our offices will be closed today, December 25, 2014 and tomorrow December 26, 2014 for a Christmas holiday break.  We will be returning Monday, December 29, 2014 to handle any of your portable ultrasound needs.  We will be taking orders for those customers needing their systems by the end of 2014 to take advantage of tax savings and we will be sending any all orders necessary for overnight delivery to get your order before January 1, 2015.

On Friday the President signed H.R. 5771: Tax Increase Prevention Act of 2014 (aka Tax Extenders Act) retroactively expanding the Section 179 deduction limits through 12/31/2014 has been enacted. The bill was passed by the house on December 3 and the Senate did their part on December 16.  This is great news for those looking to purchase business equipment.

We here at E.I. Medical Imaging have been increasing our marketing to the many people in the beef industry.  One of the groups we think represent a very important role in the beef industry is the Angus breeders.  We love that the Angus breed "means business".  It is said that the Angus breed is the business breed.  We wanted to rally around the Angus Association this year in their first Angus Association convention.  We have launched our own ad campaign with the association in mind by stating that:

Here at E.I. Medical Imaging, we have been advertising on a show on RFDTV called DocTalk with Dr. Dan Thomson.  We know that Dr. Thomson has been a very well respected veterinarian in the industry and we want our message of the Ibex® and its reliability to be seen by his audience. We have been advertising a little over a month now on his show and I wanted to share with you the 30 second spot.  We are right at the time of year where many beef cows are being pregnancy checked by veterinarians all over the country.  This spot we are running encompasses the idea that veterinarians have a tough job and they need tough tools.  They are reliable and so is the Ibex® durable portable ultrasound.  Enjoy!

We always love to have a little fun here at E.I. Medical Imaging at this time of year.  We are fascinated by sharks and it is shark week.  Brenda Anderson has submitted a video of a loop of a shark pup and we wanted to share that with you in celebration of shark week.  This image was taken by our very own Ibex® Pro. Our Ibex® can withstand the rigors and dangers presented by doing ultrasound scans in the ocean! We hope your shark week is a fun one!

We sell "Portable Ultrasound Solutions" in our Ibex® family of products so it is with great excitement we see recent good news coming from the AVMA. Their press release provides the overall story of what has been happening in the U.S. House of Representatives:

Today at E.I. Medical Imaging, we are having our own version of a backyard BBQ celebration to kick off the 4th of July weekend.  Our office is having some favorites like beans, macaroni salad, chips and burgers, among other 4th of July fare.  We will be closed here at E.I. Medical Imaging on Friday, July 4, 2014, in honor of America's Independence Day.  We sincerely hope all of you have a safe and wonderful holiday weekend and we will be back in full swing for business on Monday, July 7, 2014.  In the meantime, if you need anything at all, please contact us!

It's a big month for us here at E.I. Medical Imaging.  The title of this post could have been less broad but there are far too many things happening this month that we need to celebrate.

To all of our neighbors to the North, we would like to wish you a Happy Canada Day!  Today all Canadians are celebrating Canada Day and we wish you the best. The other thing affecting all Canadians and something we have been learning about and implementing here at E.I.
