Underwater Ultrasound
By Pete Temple on Thu, Oct 10, 2019 @ 08:53 AM
Underwater ultrasound? You bet!
This specially made system uses all IBEX® EVO® internals and has a hardwired probe. It uses a machined aluminum case to keep cool, so it doesn’t have a fan and is completely waterproof. A USB port is hidden behind the big HEX plug—WiFi is functional so file transfers can be done wirelessly.
The unit weighs in at 9.75 pounds and can operate at a depth of up to 10m. It is slightly negatively buoyant, so a tether is recommended, using the existing 4 rings on the case. USB is accessible via a side port.
