Biogenec is an experienced supplier of portable ultrasound machines in South America and has been involved in the veterinary market in that country.

With E.I. Medical Imaging partnering with Biogenec it continues to show their commitment to the South American continent and they further open up the market share for E.I. Medical Imaging in this part of the world. It has been a year of trials and tribulation and tragedy and triumph for us here at E.I. Medical Imaging.  This is a look back at what was a year somewhat like a roller coaster ride.  A year of very good high times and a year of some low points.  We have weathered the storms of the year and we look forward to a 2014 filled with its own challenges, opportunities and I am sure difficult times as well.  Here is a look back at 2013.

We have been readying ourselves here at E.I. Medical Imaging for the inevitable rush of year-end purchasing of our portable veterinary ultrasound systems.  Every year at this time many companies or veterinarians have to get their purchases accomplished and their books cleared of monies slated for equipment.  They want to get a fresh start on the new year and are busy readying themselves for tax season which is always a joy to prepare for as Spring arrives.

We have been running what some of us have been calling the Black Friday/Cyber-Monday/Ibex Orange Holiday Special now since November 25. We have been very busy here with year end inventory counting, with attending the AAEP and just generally trying to stay on top of things during the holidays.  Originally we wanted to run this sale through the close of business on Friday, December 13, 2013.

It is a time to reflect on all that we have to be thankful for and the many blessings we have received throughout the year.  From all of us at E.I. Medical Imaging, we want to thank you for being a part of our family and friends.

We hope that your harvest has been plentiful and that you have, as we have, been blessed in 2013.

Businesses are having to change the way they do things to keep up with the digital world.  We live in an age now where snail mail, print advertising, good old fashion face-to-face meetings and a handshake are a thing of the past.  We continue to evolve in business with the invention of technology and how we conduct our day-to-day business transactions.  At E.I. Medical Imaging, we are not much different in the way we approach our business.  We too must adapt to the way of the future.  We are using social media and technology to provide up to the minute information about our products and services.  Our Ibex® Portable Ultrasound Systems' software can be updated with a few strokes of a keypad on your computer and online, and we have many other technologically advanced features too numerous for this post.

As we sit here in the midst of completing our budgets for 2014 at E.I. Medical Imaging a common question is for us to look at expenditures for the previous couple of years and ask, "What was the return on the investment?"  Suffice it to say this is a question asked in any business setting and for any department.  The same can be said for veterinarians and livestock producers.  As the title of the article here infers, what is the return on investment of purchasing a portable ultrasound system?  We here at E.I. Medical Imaging are the first to try to find ways to make the systems we sell more affordable for our customers.  In fact we discuss this at length every time we get together in a sales meeting, a marketing strategy session, and even now as we prepare our budgets for 2014.
