Announcement Summary
Announcing the End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Service-Life (EOSL) for the E.I. Medical Imaging Bantam family of ultrasound devices. Due to lack of availability of certain key components used in the below ultrasound devices, E.I. Medical Imaging will no longer manufacture these ultrasound devices after the dates listed in this EOL/EOSL announcement. Inventory does still remain for the Bantam ultrasound systems, however certain models are limited in remaining quantity. Service and support on the Bantam ultrasound systems will continue for a period of no longer than five (5) years.

End of Service Life (EOSL) Date: August 31, 2015
Support
E.I. Medical Imaging will continue to honor all service contracts on the above listed ultrasound devices through the life of the service contract. Any out of warranty/ service contract EIMI ultrasound devices will no longer be serviceable as of the above dates. E.I. Medical Imaging will typically make support available for a minimum of five (5) years after the Last Ship Date. E.I. Medical Imaging reserves the right and may elect to cease offering support for specific Hardware or Software Products before the end of the five-year E.I. Medical Imaging EOSL period. If this occurs, E.I. Medical Imaging will provide Customers with at least three months' notice of its plans to discontinue support.
E.I. Medical Imaging will continue to sell, service and distribute used and refurbished Bantam ultrasound products as long as inventory is available. E.I. Medical Imaging will no longer offer support contract extensions on any ultrasound device other than Ibex family systems.
Upgrade Options
E.I. Medical Imaging Trade up to Ibex™ upgrade program. Customers are encouraged to begin plans to upgrade to the currently supported Ibex™ series ultrasound devices. Customers interested in discussing an upgrade to the Ibex series should contact your local E.I. Medical Imaging sales representative or distributor. You can always contact E.I. In order to assist our customers with this transition, special upgrade pricing is available for all customers affected by this End-of-Life announcement.
