E.I. Medical Imaging (EIMI) is very excited to be celebrating in 2014 its 30th year as a worldwide leader in durable portable veterinary ultrasound systems. E.I. Medical Imaging is proud to be the only U.S. based manufacturer of ultrasounds designed specifically for veterinary use. It continues to lead the industry in innovative veterinary ultrasound products after launching its business in 1984.
EIMI President, Chas Maloy acquired the company in 2005 and states, "We are very proud to commemorate our 30th year of being in the veterinary diagnostics industry and we strive to lead our company into its next 30 years in this competitive veterinary ultrasound market. We have added numerous global partners and are reaching out to other parts of the world and offering the best of what we have in products."
EIMI continues to be an innovative leader in the industry as it grows. It has set the bar for customer service and how they handle the needs of their many customers all over the world. Maloy states, "We always put our customer first. It may not be the most profitable way to run a business but I know its the right way."
In 2014 EIMI has launched the Ibex® LS to replace its already popular Bantam line of ultrasound systems. The company looks to duplicate its growth since Maloy purchased the company and continues to add distributors around the world to help customers in every industry and any environment. EIMI customers continue to look for more ways to incorporate ultrasound into their veterinary practices, livestock production and other animal businesses. EIMI continues to look for ways to be there as a partner in their businesses.

By Jim Turner on Thu, May 01, 2014 @ 01:54 PM
E.I. Medical Imaging is very proud to announce they have added another product to its already stellar group of durable and portable veterinary ultrasound systems. Joining the Ibex® Lite and the Ibex® Pro is the new Ibex® LS.
The Ibex® LS has been specifically developed to replace the very popular Bantam model of portable veterinary ultrasound systems. The Ibex® LS will also be manufactured and serviced at the company headquarters in Loveland, Colorado. The Bantam portable ultrasound is no longer being manufactured at their facility and in August, 2015, the Bantam reaches its end of service life. The new Ibex® LS replaces the Bantam with all the features and the same durability and portability of the Ibex® Lite. "We knew this day was coming and we wanted to be prepared to offer all of our customers an alternative that is affordable and will continue to provide them with the best possible portable veterinary ultrasound unit for their needs", said E.I. Medical Imaging's president, Chas Maloy.
The Ibex® LS is specifically designed with the swine market in mind. "Our swine customers are the largest number of customers currently using our Bantam model and we wanted to offer them the latest in technology and advancements our company can provide", said Maloy. He added, "The swine customer helped our company reach 30 years of service, we owe it to them to provide the Ibex® LS. We are excited about this offering."
The Ibex® LS unit is nearly identical to the popular Ibex® Lite model, with the difference being it supports a hard wired sector probe and carries with it a two year warranty. The Ibex® LS package comes with a transducer, the Insite® 2 Goggles, hard carrying case and carrying pouch and strap along with other features. The Ibex® is ready to be shipped to customers beginning on May 1, 2014. The portable and durable veterinary ultrasound unit also comes with the legendary service E.I. Medical Imaging is known for in the veterinary ultrasound industry.

One recent conversation I wanted to share with you as many of you may have this question. I thought it would be good to share with all of our customers and potential users. The question I will put forth first and the response to the question was written by our very own in house veterinarian, Dr. Erika Wierman. Dr. Wierman is heading up our education and training here at E.I. Medical Imaging and we will soon be launching more information about our program. For now we will be happy to respond to questions like these:

Every year at this time many companies or veterinarians have to get their purchases accomplished and their books cleared of monies slated for equipment. They want to get a fresh start on the new year and are busy readying themselves for tax season which is always a joy to prepare for as Spring arrives.
