According to the International Dairy Foods Association, in 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday of the month as National Ice Cream Day.

According to the linked proclamation, nearly 30 years ago, 90% of the 90 percent of the nation's population enjoyed ice cream.  It may be as much or more today.

Portable Ultrasound Being Put To Good Use For Turtle Conservancy

We wanted to bring everyone up to speed on what is going on at the Behler Chelonian Center ("BCC") as of June 2013.  If you recall we recently provided the BCC with an Ibex Ultrasound that was purchased through the donation from Patagonia.  Our company then provided a pair of goggles to be used by the BCC along with their system.  We were excited to see this image as provided by the conservancy in their newsletter.

No Holidays For The Farmer! E.I. Medical Imaging Recognizes A Hero

In America we recently celebrated the 4th of July holiday, or Independence Day, and for some of us we even enjoyed an extra few days off of work since the holiday fell on a Thursday allowing for a day off on Friday and of course, the weekend.

This was a great celebration in my family as well because of the fact that I have a son celebrating his birthday on July 4 and my wife celebrates her birthday the day after.  To say the least, we had a grand time with birthday cakes, fireworks and some mouth watering BBQ along with our time off on the long holiday weekend.

We Provide Ibex® Equipment for Saint Louis Zoo Research Project

Loveland, CO July 1, 2013 - E.I. Medical Imaging (“EIMI”) is proud to announce it will be assisting the Saint Louis Zoo’s Institute for Conservation Medicine and Dr. Sharon Deem, and her research partners, in a study entitled "How Environment, Physiology and Life History Interact to Determine Pattern in Animal Migration." Dr. Deem’s work will take place this summer in the Galapagos Islands. The study is one of the investigations within the giant tortoise program led by Dr. Stephen Blake. The giant tortoise program was developed to assist the Galapagos National Park (GNP) to effectively conserve giant Galapagos tortoises by conducting cutting edge applied science and to develop an inspirational tortoise-based outreach and education program.

Each flight is determined by annual revenues and are first sorted into 5 flights of 20 companies each based on total amount of annual revenue. EIMI was ranked fourth flight three of companies with 2012 earnings between $2.84M and $5.24M.

Medical Imaging (EIMI) is pleased to announce that Jim Turner has taken over the duties of Director of Marketing.  Jim joins EIMI at a time of growth and the company looks forward to using his vast experience in the social media world as well as his experience with working in the digital space.  “We are very excited about the possibilities Jim brings to our organization”, said Charles Maloy, President of E.I. Medical Imaging.  He brings experience and leadership as well as some energy to the team. He has some great ideas we want to implement for our future at EIMI.”

Jim Turner is a renaissance man in the online world having worked with Fortune 500 companies and small business all over the United States and globally.  Jim developed into a social media marketing business leader, founding One By One Media, a social media marketing firm and Bloggers For Hire, a blogger outsourcing company nearly 10 years ago. Jim has worked in the non-profit world, he is a radio show host, a basketball coach, a color analyst and football broadcaster, and serves on the board of directors of companies needing his guidance. He speaks at events all over the country and has appeared in publications like the Wall Street Journal, on media outlets as an expert on CNN and has been featured in Forbes and Inc. magazines. EIMI Donates Portable InSite2® Goggles To Turtle Conservancy

Vetrinarians At Turtle ConservancyLOVELAND, CO- E.I. Medical Imaging (EIMI) has recently sold an Ibex® Pro Portable Ultrasound System to veterinarians at The Turtle Conservancy and the Behler Chelonian Center.  The center was able to purchase the portable ultrasound system due to a generous donation from Patagonia. In addition to the Ibex® Pro Ultrasound system, E.I. Medical Imaging will donate a pair of Insite2® Goggles valued at US$1500.00.    The Turtle Conservancy will be using the Ibex® Pro Portable Ultrasound system in their routine diagnostic medicine, such as making a diagnosis about whether a turtle or tortoise is holding eggs, and it will provide new research evidence to describe the reproductive cycles of some of their most important species, including the critically endangered Ploughshare Tortoise from Madagascar.

“We are honored to have our company partner with the Turtle Conservancy to continue their research and their work in protecting the most endangered turtles and tortoises and their habitats worldwide,” said EIMI President, Chas Maloy.  “We consider it our company’s social responsibility to assist these nonprofits in doing this most important work.”  EIMI is very thankful for the Turtle Conservancy and their continued hard work in saving endangered turtles all over the world.
