It may be one of the biggest cliche's in the history of business, but it rings true in most cases, "the customer is always right". In the world of durable and portable ultrasound systems this statement is never more apparent and necessary.  It doesn't take too long to understand, without happy customers your business is doomed. At E.I. Medical Imaging customer feedback is taken very seriously.  It shapes the products we produce, it changes the way we do business and it persuades each decision we make on how we run our business.

As part of our current campaign to help with education and training of the veterinarian and the livestock producer, E. I. Medical Imaging is taking its durable portable ultrasound on the road in Nebraska to educate veterinarians on the use of its Ibex® Customizable Extension or as we refer to the accessory for the Ibex® Portable Ultrasound, the I.C.E.®  The title of the course  scheduled on September 26, 2013 is "Extension Arm Ultrasound Pregnancy Testing and Fetal Aging Course". The University of Nebraska West Central Research and Extension Center in cooperation with Repro-Scan, E.I. Medical Imaging, and BCF Technology will be hosting a Bovine Reproductive Ultrasound for Veterinarians course to provide hands-on, in-depth instruction in the use of ultrasound for bovine reproductive exams. This workshop will focus on utilizing “extension arm” ultrasound technique and fetal aging.

I'm in marketing.  Part of my job duties are to worry about our E.I. Medical Imaging brand. As a veterinarian or as a livestock producer or for that matter any business owner your job is also in most cases to worry about your company, your business and your brand.  We recognize that issue here at EIMI and want to help you with a small component of your duty to be concerned with your company brand.

I would have to say if I was keeping track of what this year has been thus far, I would call it the "Year of The Shark". We have had our share of great turtle news this year but by far our involvement with the ultrasound research of sharks has been the most exciting. It is very exciting for us here at E.I. Medical Imaging to keep the conversation going in the world of sharks as others continue to celebrate shark week.  The Ibex® Portable Ultrasound has been  a part of the research world as it pertains to sharks and other animals and we wanted to bring you another example of our assistance earlier in the year with shark research.

The Discovery Channel is celebrating shark week this week from August 4-9, 2013, so we thought we would hop on that bandwagon and celebrate a little shark week ourselves here at E.I. Medical Imaging. 

At E.I. Medical Imaging we like to stay on top of what is happening in our industry of portable ultrasound.  We like to find out what is happening in the world of veterinary medicine, how the farmers are doing with their crops and we like to stay informed and know what is happening in the beef world and the latest news from the dairy farms.  This week we had a few conversations with folks about our Ibex® portable ultrasound system and learned about some other interesting news we would like to share.

Last week my family and I made the trip from Colorado to Orlando, Florida.  The 6 of us have spent 2 years planning and saving our pennies to make a memorable trip to Disney, and Universal Studios, and a day at the beach.  It was everything we had hoped for and more.
